The Interesting Adventures of Bushynka

Great book! I already learned to read Ukrainian and knew some words and phrases so this was exactly what I wanted instead of just learning more vocabulary things in isolation. The structure is very helpful with the way words are introduced and repeated, with stress showing and a translation at the bottom - most of the time! Sometimes words aren't translated and you have to understand from context or by sounding them out, which works great for me because you have to stop and think for a bit. It's also funny how obvious the translation is once you know it. It's also clever with the way it introduces different cases by, once again, just putting them into context and you notice it's different! So happy I bought the bundle with multiple books even though it'll take me forever to get through them properly

This book has been a fantastic tool for practicing Ukrainian. Rather than long stories, it uses short situational dialogues that are engaging and engaging at just the right level to build confidence. :) What I love most is how thoughtful the layout is: key vocabulary, stressed vowels, and easily confused words (like verbs of motion) are highlighted and defined right on the page alongside clear grammar tips. I highly recommend this book for any Ukrainian learner or language enthusiast.
